December 15, 2015
More good news. The Canadian Tax Foundation has awarded a $2,000 scholarship to Joy Elkeslassy, a student in the Master of Laws, Taxation option (LLM) program, for having the best academic record.
Joy completed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Law at the Université de Montréal in 2012 and made the Dean’s List. She then earned a Juris Doctor in common law from the prestigious Osgoode Hall faculty, in Toronto. Back in Montreal, she finished first among the 1,022 students writing the Quebec Bar exam in 2013-2014. She then enrolled in the LLM program at HEC Montréal. Joy is now working on her supervised project and hopes to specialize in planning. She has already completed her training in taxation with Spiegel Sohmer Inc., where she is currently articling.
Well done, Joy!
