Learn the basic concepts of industrial economics from an international perspective
November 5, 2015
Économie industrielle : une perspective internationale, by Thierry Warin, Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin and Pierre Médan, has just been published by Presses internationales Polytechnique.
According to the authors, “globalization hasn’t made the world simpler, but more complex. There are more multinationals than ever. Their value chains have expanded around the globe and become more complicated, with an increasing number of firms from emerging countries. This is the first time in human history that over 40% of the world’s population is seeing such rapid development. In this context, it is important to approach industrial economics from an international viewpoint.”
This book explains the basic concepts of industrial economics from an international perspective, with numerous examples drawn from multinationals in the West and emerging nations. It is also a tool for analyzing business strategies and recognizing important concepts in studying companies in their industrial sectors.
