2015 Clinique d’impôts: 1,520 tax returns completed by 300 student volunteers!

At the HEC Montréal 2014 Clinique d’impôts (Tax Fair), held from March 27 to 29, no fewer than 1,520 tax returns were completed by 300 student volunteers, to help newcomers and low-income taxpayers.

The free event, with journalist and producer François Bugingo acting as spokesperson once again, was a great success. It not only allowed the School’s students to acquire some targeted tax knowledge, but also provided valuable assistance for the Montreal community.

The tax clinic, organized in co-operation with the Société de relations d’affaires (SRA) de HEC Montréal, Revenu Québec and the Canada Revenue Agency, was open only to individuals with incomes of less than $25,000 and families with household incomes of less than $30,000.
