Over $500,000 in Scholarships for 29 Master's Students

Last year, 29 Master’s students received more than $500,000 in research funding from granting agencies.

The students were selected by juries of research experts, based on their exceptional academic records, their potential for university research and their interpersonal skills.

Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships (SSHRC)

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) awarded 13 scholarships worth $17,500 to Master’s students in the thesis track at HEC Montréal.

Mitacs Accelerate Quebec is a research internship program designed to encourage research partnerships between universities and private-sector companies.

The MITACS Accelerate program awards $15,000 scholarships every year to students doing internships at a private-sector company in Canada. The scholarships are renewable if students are accepted for a second internship.
