This information is gathered and stored, for as long as necessary, in compliance with the Act Respecting Access to Documents Held by Public Bodies and the Protection of Personal Information (CQLR c A-2.1). It is destroyed according to the timelines established in the HEC Montréal retention schedule.
Our Office is responsible for maintaining lasting ties between HEC Montréal and its alumni, while enabling them to contribute to their alma mater through volunteering or philanthropic involvement. The Office therefore collects and uses the alumni’s personal information to support its services regarding engagement and involvement with the School or key survey purposes on behalf of our Office or the HEC Montréal management team, or with regard to fundraising initiatives.

By providing your personal information, you are authorizing us to update your contact details in our database and therefore use it to send you invitations to our or HEC Montréal events, to provide you with news about graduates and the School, to inform you of discounts and privileges offered by our partners, and to communicate with you about our fundraising activities or any other communication of a similar nature concerning HEC Montréal alumni.

Please note that if you withdraw your consent, you will no longer receive information from us. The withdrawal of your consent only applies to the HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office.
You also have the right to ask us to erase or delete your personal information when we have no valid reason to continue processing it. Please note that we will not always be able to comply with your request for deletion if there are specific reasons for not doing so, which will be provided to you upon request. The Secretary General of HEC Montréal is responsible for the protection of personal information entrusted to the HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office.
