The HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office holds personal information on donors and alumni. Our Office is responsible for maintaining lasting ties between HEC Montréal and its alumni, while enabling them to contribute to their alma mater through volunteering or philanthropic involvement. The Office therefore collects and uses the alumni’s personal information to support its services regarding engagement and involvement with the School, for statistical or survey purposes on behalf of our Office or the HEC Montréal management team, or with regard to fundraising initiatives.
The HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office pays particular attention to the protection of this information, collected by e-mail, by telephone, through our forms, via our website, or when you register for our activities.
The HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office is committed to protecting your personal information. A strict set of rules has been put into place to safeguard your privacy. Only authorized personnel can have access to your information.
By providing your personal information, you are authorizing us to update your contact details in our database and therefore use it to send you invitations to our or HEC Montréal events, to provide you with news about graduates and the School, to inform you of discounts and privileges offered by our partners, and to communicate with you about our fundraising activities or any other communication of a similar nature concerning HEC Montréal alumni.
You may withdraw your consent to any or all of these uses at any time by contacting us by phone at 514-340-6896 or by e-mail at diplomes.fondation@hec.ca. Please note that if you withdraw your consent, you will no longer receive information from us. The withdrawal of your consent only applies to the HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office.
You also have the right to ask us to erase or delete your personal information when we have no valid reason to continue processing it. Please note that we will not always be able to comply with your request for deletion if there are specific reasons for not doing so, which will be provided to you upon request.
All donations made online via the website of the HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office are secure. Information about you and your credit card is transmitted electronically in an encrypted format to safeguard its confidentiality.
