On December 13 and 14, the generous contributions of HEC Montréal Foundation donors took centre stage when 178 admission, encouragement, international exchange and academic excellence awards were presented for the fall 2022 term.
The HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office is extremely grateful to the 55 valued partners who donated a total $864 855 in support of the student community.
The awards ceremonies on December 13 and 14 were an opportunity to shine the spotlight on the wonderful group of altruists who make up our community of donors. The event also allowed the winning students to meet and thank the partners who have so kindly contributed to their advancement.
Whether they help students to work or study abroad, start up a business or explore innovative research paths, these awards change lives and help give future leaders a leg up in the business world.
“The unwavering support shown by the HEC Montréal community for our students never ceases to amaze us. I am sincerely thankful to the people, businesses and foundations who step up to the plate with their donations. Your generosity, your loyalty and your trust make all the difference. Thank you for helping us prepare the next generation of great leaders and executives.”
Our congratulations go out to all the scholarship and bursary recipients for the fall 2022 term, as does our gratitude to all those who make these awards possible. Their contributions are vital in meeting students’ financial needs today and sparking the inspiration that fuels a better tomorrow. Through these and other initiatives, our donors are doing their part to put aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders on the path toward a brilliant career.
This fall, our partner Hydro-Québec awarded scholarships for excellence to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students at Université de Montréal, Polytechnique Montréal and HEC Montréal. On this occasion, all participants came together to highlight the academic excellence of the recipients from the three institutions, who are working on projects in various fields of interest to Hydro-Québec.
Congratulations to bachelor's degree winner Charles-Olivier Fortier and master's degree winners Joséphine De Bruycker, Kyra Ann D'Ignazio and Clémence Lemieux.
