On December 10 and 11, the generosity of donors dedicated to helping the next generation of business professionals at HEC Montréal was celebrated in style during the fall 2024 scholarship cocktail. The contributions of these donors made it possible to award no fewer than 244 academic excellence, research, encouragement, international exchange and admission scholarships.
The HEC Montréal Foundation and Alumni Relations Office expressed deep gratitude for the 75 benefactors whose commitment translated to close to $1 million in funds for up-and-coming business professionals. Direct funding like this, which has the power to fuel some remarkable accomplishments, is worthy of special note.
A springboard to promising career paths
Scholarships can, and do, change lives and empower potential, allowing students to study abroad, continue their academic journey in optimal conditions, start up a business or carry out innovative research.
“My warmest thanks go out to the people, corporations and foundations that donate to HEC Montréal for their steadfast support. They make it possible to train the leaders, managers and entrepreneurs our ever-changing world will need going forward. Their ongoing commitment to our community helps get our students’ careers off to a brilliant start, and society as a whole ultimately reaps the rewards.”
Michel Patry, President and CEO of the HEC Montréal Foundation
