As we celebrate International Women’s Day, the HEC Montréal Foundation, with the support of Enterprise Mobility, is launching a matching gift campaign aimed at helping female students overcome obstacles and pursue their ambitions.
There are hundreds of women enrolled at HEC Montréal who are facing financial hardship for one reason or another. In fall 2024, more than 300 applications that met the criteria for financial assistance through the Women’s Fund were received.
Some are single parents, immigrants or isolated from the mainstream community. Some are returning to school after a prolonged absence. Situations like these come with many challenges, financial and otherwise. But these are women determined to get ahead. When given the chance to realize their potential, they can give back to society many times over. It at all starts with getting the support they need to make it happen.
The HEC Montréal community is asked to give generously between March 8 and 31. The more donors who join this movement, the greater the support female students will have to make their dreams come true. Every contribution from alumni and other members of the community has the power to be a beacon of hope, especially because it will be doubled in value through this matching fit campaign (up to a maximum of $10,000.*
Join us today with your support for women who need a helping hand to secure a better future.
The HEC Montréal Foundation Women’s Fund provides incentive scholarships to female students who are going back to school, are single parents, are experiencing financial challenges or are facing other difficulties while enrolled at HEC Montréal.
The symbol for this equal opportunity campaign is a four-leaf clover made up for four hearts, representing hope, love and good fortune for women who need an extra boost from our tight-knit community to make ends meet while they are on their academic journey.
*Between March 8 and March 31, 2025, Enterprise Mobility will match all donations made to the HEC Montréal Women’s Fund, dollar for dollar, up to a campaign total of $10,000.
