FINvest 2024
Event of the year in the field of finance, FINvest 2024 will take place on campus at HEC Montréal on September 17 and 18, 2024.
Organized by the HEC Montréal’s Career Management Services, this free event gives employers the opportunity to meet and recruit talented and top-performing students in the field of finance, i.e., those who have distinguised themselves through their academic, extracurricular and professional achievements.
The event will take place over two days, for a total duration of 6 hours on campus, and will allow participating companies to fill positions and/or internships in market finance, corporate finance, or quantitative finance.

Côte-Sainte-Catherine Pavilion, HEC Montréal, 3000 Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal, QC H3T 2A7
Schedule:
- Tuesday, September 17, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Wednesday, September 18, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Each of the two days will proceed as follows:
- Preparation : arrival from 12:00 PM to set up promotional materials (banner stand if desired) and conduct technical tests if needed (PPT projection, video with sound, etc.).
Duration: 30 minutes - Part 1: Employers’ pitch where 6 companies take turns presenting their company to a auditorium full of students interested in internship or job opportunities in finance.
Duration: 60 minutes, divided into 6 x 8-minute presentations, with a 2-minute break between each company for transitions - Part 2: Networking with all the students who attended the Employers’ Pitch.
Duration: 90 minutes
