Industry Connexions | Innovation, Social Impact and Sustainability

A series of meetings between students and mentors to allow tomorrow’s talents to benefit from the advice and experience of professionals with inspiring backgrounds in their chosen field.
Whether they are sustainability managers, founders of startups, or experts in CSR, this edition aims to bring together mentors with diverse and varied backgrounds to guide HEC Montréal's talents on the path to their professional future. Examples of represented industries include circular economy, public service and associations, foundations, clean technologies, renewable energies, entrepreneurship, ESG, biodynamic agriculture...

HEC Montréal - 3000, chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal (Québec) H3T 2A7.
Salon Mont-Royal (ground floor). Free parking.
Event schedule
4:30 pm to 5:15 pm: mentors network with other industry professionals before the mentoring and networking sessions
5:15 to 5:30 pm: speech by an HEC Montréal Alumni
5:30 to 7:15 pm: each mentor meets with a small group of 1 to 3 students, around an assigned table for the entire evening
7:15 to 7:30 pm: open networking time between students and mentors over cocktails and appetizers
7:30 pm: end of event
Mentors’ mission
- Introduce themselves, talk about their background, interest in the field, share advice with students, and answer their questions.
- Students will have access to the list of mentors ahead of time and could therefore arrive with specific issues or questions.
- There is no material to prepare, but if you wish, you can think of some advice or tips related to your professional journey.
Students profile
- Primarily graduate students (DESS, M. Sc., MBA...) with a keen interest in your industry
- However the event will be open to all HEC Montréal students
- Registration will be required to participate
