The work of reviewers is essential to the Journal and to the double-blind peer review process. As such, we are extremely grateful to all of the reviewers who contribute to the IJCSM, especially in a context where activities related to teaching and pedagogy are often given lower priority than research activities and publications.
The IJCSM relies on hundreds of reviewers affiliated with 77 universities in 15 countries. Historically, HEC Montréal professors have accounted for a significant proportion of the Journal’s reviewers. The majority of IJCSM reviewers are professors of management, but their ranks also include a number of consultants, managers and business leaders.
Reviewing a case for the IJCSM is an ideal way to familiarize oneself with the Journal’s editorial policy and to gain an understanding of how to go about producing and improving a case and teaching notes. This explains why the best case authors are often also reviewers.
For the sake of transparency and to encourage learning, the Journal sends each reviewer the evaluations of the other reviewers (generally three) of a case, as well as the letter sent by the editor to the case authors.
As a small token of its appreciation of reviewers, each year, the Journal publishes a list of the reviewers who contributed evaluations over the previous year.

The International Journal of Case Studies in Management is seeking the help of faculty members and experts to validate the content of submitted cases. Editorial work is based on the voluntary dedication of peers whose contribution is essential to ensuring the Journal’s quality and academic rigour.
