The Black History Month Committee, in collaboration with the HEC Montréal EDI team, invites you to take part in a series of rich and varied activities that will take place throughout the month of February.
These free events, which are open to all members of the School community, are an opportunity to honor the precious legacy of Black communities from past generations and to shine a spotlight on the current outstanding talents.
Join us for this month-long celebration of unforgettable and meaningful experiences.

Decelles Building – Hall des diplômés on the 3rd floor
Come meet the committee members to learn more about Black History Month and celebrate the cultures of the different Black communities in our School. On the program: culinary tastings, arts and traditions, games, networking... AND a surprise performance!

Join us for a panel discussion featuring personalities from diverse backgrounds who will share their perspectives on the power of representation and how Afrodescendant heritage can be leveraged for empowerment and innovation. This exchange, followed by a question-and-answer period, will aim, among other things, to identify the means at our disposal to “break down borders.”

- Leslie Touré Kapo, professor at INRS, expert on racism issues
