The entrePrism program receives additional financial support from the Quebec government
March 18, 2016
The entrePrism program, launched in October 2015 by the HEC Montréal Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Acquisition and Business Families Hub thanks to a $2.5 million donation from the Fondation Mirella et Lino Saputo, is to receive $200,000 in additional support annually over 2 years. The announcement was made yesterday in conjunction with the Quebec Economic Plan, one of the objectives of which is to foster the retention of foreign students and promote entrepreneurship, especially among immigrants.
The entrePrism program is an innovative model relying on entrepreneurship as a tool for social and economic integration, with the goal of helping entrepreneurs, in particular from cultural communities, to start up new businesses and grow existing ones. It is also intended to develop new tools based on research on entrepreneurship as a means of integrating newcomers.
