February 17, 2016
The HEC Montréal Pôle médias and EY are proud to announce a three-year partnership agreement to support the study of far-reaching transformations in the media and entertainment sector in Quebec.
This new collaboration will allow the Pôle médias to benefit from financial support and a constructive relationship with EY to carry out research, develop teaching tools and contribute to a clearer understanding of the changes currently reshaping these industries.
“This association lets the HEC Montréal Pôle médias redouble its activities aimed at better understanding these industries, and will also stimulate research into promising avenues,” says Sylvain Lafrance, Director of the Pôle médias. “With this funding for scholarships and research projects, the Pôle médias can focus more on developing an ecosystem of knowledge of these sectors at the School.”
“At EY, we are aware that businesses in the media and entertainment industry are faced with daunting challenges stimulated by creativity and innovation,” says Tony Ritlop, Partner with EY Advisory Services. “We also see that they continue to be driven by a common vision: offering their clients relevant content and the most advanced platform to meet their needs, wherever they are. EY has signed on to this partnership with the goal of better understanding their concerns, so as to help them develop and prosper.”
In addition to the benefits for the partners, this association will help players in the media and entertainment industry in Quebec take advantage of growth opportunities, through its collaborative activities and the publication of its research findings.
