HEC Montréal pays tribute to J.-Robert Ouimet

It is with regret that we learned recently of Mr. J.-Robert Ouimet’s death (HEC 1956) on July 18, 2018.

Mr. Ouimet served on the School’s Board of Directors and generously supported the HEC Montréal library for many years.

He was a proud alumnus of the School, having been named Distinguished Alumnus in 1994.

A philanthropic and ambitious entrepreneur, J.-Robert Ouimet was actively involved in the cultural, charitable and religious communities. He was named Knight of the Ordre National du Québec in 1994 and member of the Order of Canada in 1998.

The members of the HEC Montréal community therefore join voices to present their most sincere condolences to Mr. Ouimet’s family and close friends.
