Our MSc in Finance rises in the Financial Times ranking
June 18, 2018
The HEC Montréal Maîtrise en gestion (MSc) – Finance has come in at number 45 in the Financial Times Global Masters in Finance 2018 list, moving up one position from last year.
This ranking by the British daily measures a series of criteria in three main areas: graduates’ career progress, school diversity, and access to international experience and research.
HEC Montréal earned its best results for the value of its MSc in Finance degree, increases in program graduates’ salaries and the fact that they generally achieve the aims they had set.
The proportion of female students, the international character of faculty and the Board of Directors, and the proportion of students who had completed a company internship were also factors emphasized in the survey.
The ranking was based on surveys of graduates from Master’s in Finance programs at different schools and universities around the world.
