Nearly $730,000 in scholarships for 49 Master’s and Bachelor’s students

A total of 49 Master’s and Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) students at HEC Montréal received nearly $730,000 in research scholarships from granting agencies during the 2017–2018 academic year.
They were all selected by juries of research experts, based on the exceptional quality of their academic records and their research potential.
Undergraduate research scholarships from the NSERC and supplements from the FRQNT (BRPC and BPCA)
The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) awarded ten scholarships to HEC Montréal students conducting research internships as part of their BBA program. Each award recipient also received a supplement from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologie (FRQNT) for completing the internship.

Mitacs Accelerate is Canada’s most extensive research internship program. It allows graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and university professors to extend the scope of their research by teaming up with private companies.
