HEC Montréal students excel on the CPA Canada CFE

HEC Montréal students turned in remarkable performances on the Common Final Examination (CFE) for chartered professional accountants in September 2019. The results were announced on January 7, with 242 School alumni having passed this cross-Canada exam, a crucial step toward obtaining their CPA designation.
François D’Anjou, a graduate of the School’s D.E.S.S. en comptabilité professionnelle – CPA program, achieved the highest standing by a Quebec student and received the Gold Medal for Quebec awarded by CPA Canada.
Eight other HEC Montréal alumni also made the CFE Honour Roll for Quebec, saluting the 23 candidates with the best results on the exam in the province. They are:

- Patricia Coutu
- Tinhinane Ferrat
- Virgile Gélinas
- Dominique Gratton
- Frédérique Leblanc and
- Jean Najem
