September 11, 2020
The Parcours AGIR (AGIR track) of the HEC Montréal Bachelor in Business Administration program (BBA) has achieved international recognition. The program received an honourable mention by the jury of the CIDEGEF-FNEGE award for teaching innovation in management.
These prizes are awarded annually by two prominent French organizations: the Conférence Internationale des Dirigeants des institutions d’Enseignement supérieur et de recherche de Gestion d’Expression Française (CIDEGEF) and the Fondation nationale pour l’enseignement de la gestion des entreprises (FNEGE).
Designed to recognize teaching innovation in the management field, this contest is open to all universities in the international French-speaking community.
About the Parcours AGIR
The Parcours AGIR has been offered each year since 2017 to a cohort of about 60 students admitted to the BBA program.
The members of this special cohort take exactly the same courses as the other BBA students, but benefit from innovative teaching approaches that notably emphasize practice, interaction and collaboration.
Instructors of the AGIR cohort are encouraged to experiment with and apply diverse initiatives, which makes the program a true incubator of teaching innovation. Several of these innovations have been subsequently integrated in the regular teaching context.
The success of the Parcours AGIR results from close cooperation between professors, full-time lecturers and the many departments of HEC Montréal.
