MBA: 1st in sustainable development
Five students win an international case competition

HEC Montréal MBA students Jean-Frédéric Baillargeon-St-Pierre, Marion-Victoria-Leslie Dubois, Guillaume Jolicoeur, Nirmalkumar Govinda and Christian-Ulrich Sonfack-Kenfack took 1st place in the Accounting for Sustainability Project International Case Competition (A4SICC), on March 26 and 27.
Organized by the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto, the virtual event on the theme of “Supply Chain Resilience and Climate Change Impact” attracted 16 teams from Asia, Europe and North America.
The HEC Montréal team, “E-Fishing Sea”, was coached by Lecturer Jean-Michel Champagne, Sustainable Development Co-ordinator at the School, and won for its logistics solution encouraging a more environmentally friendly fishing industry.
