A high-level cyclist and HEC Montréal student wins a scholarship

Charles-Étienne Chrétien, an HEC Montréal student athlete, has been awarded a $4,000 scholarship by Bonneville Homes, a Quebec residential construction company.
The scholarship is connected to the Bonneville 808 Challenge, a cycling event organized by the Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence du Québec (FAEQ) and sponsored by Bonneville Homes, to be held in the Mont-Tremblant region in September 2021.
At the same time as he pursues a career in sports, Charles-Étienne is enrolled in the certificat en gestion d’entreprise program at HEC Montréal. In the fall term, he successfully maintained a GPA of 3.85 out of 4.3.
In the longer term, he is hoping for a career in a field combining forestry and management, e.g. as a manager with a forestry company.
