Federico Pasin appointed to a 2^nd term as HEC Montréal Director

Federico Pasin will begin a second straight term as Director of HEC Montréal on July 1, 2023. The renewal of his appointment was officially approved on October 26 by the School’s Board of Directors.

The Board members unanimously voted to appoint Mr. Pasin for a 2^nd term, after HEC Montréal faculty also expressed their support for this choice. The Director will continue in his current position for another 4 years, until June 30, 2027.

On October 12, Professor Pasin presented a report on his first term and his plans for the next 4 years to the faculty assembly, as stipulated in the Regulations concerning the Director of HEC Montréal. The assembly then voted in favour of renewing his term.

Professor Pasin has been at HEC Montréal since 1994. He is a Full Professor in the Department of Logistics and Operations Management. Before becoming the School’s 11^th Director on June 1, 2019, he held a number of senior administrative and management positions, including its Secretary General and Director of International Activities.
