February 18, 2022
CEO Magazine has once again rated HEC Montréal highly, in its 2022 ranking of the world’s top MBA programs. The School was ranked in the top tier in North America, along with just one other from Quebec and 3 from elsewhere in Canada. The British magazine’s Global MBA Rankings rely on an analysis of fact-based data collected from the institutions themselves, rather than surveys of alumni or students from other schools. The most important criterion is “Quality of the faculty,” which counts for nearly 36% of the score.
- The other criteria, by order of importance, are:
- International diversity (9.71%)
- Class size (9.71%)
- Accreditation held by the school (8.74%)
- Faculty to student ratio (7.76%)
- Price (5.83%)
- International exposure (4.85%)
- Work experience (4.85%)
- Professional development (4.85%)
- Gender parity (4.85%)
- Delivery methods (3.8%)
The ranking is based on data from the past 4 years. All in all, 180 schools offering 347 MBA and EMBA programs (including full-time, part-time and online programs) were evaluated.
Note that HEC Montréal did not participate in this year’s ranking for its EMBA program offered jointly with McGill University.
