An international pathway to excellence for MBA students
In partnership with emlyon, ESAN and ESIC
February 1, 2022
Three new partnerships will now let international students come to HEC Montréal to complete their MBA studies and earn 2 degrees: one from their home institution and one from HEC Montréal. This is the first such international pathway for our MBA program.
The partnership agreements were signed with globally renowned institutions whose MBA programs, like ours, are accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA). They are:
- emlyon business school, in France
- ESAN, in Peru and
- ESIC, in Spain
Students will complete the first half of their MBA programs at one of the partner universities, and then come to HEC Montréal for the remaining 6 to 8 months of their degree.
“Our goal is to make our MBA program even more internationally focused, through innovative and enriching opportunities like this pathway. Students who complete their MBAs in this way will end up with not only a degree from their home institution but also with what is considered one of the top North American degrees. And, of course, HEC Montréal offers lots of other advantages: a multicultural environment, many networking opportunities, access to an extensive business ecosystem, as well as all the services available to the School community.”
HEC Montréal will begin welcoming ESAN and ESIC students in February 2022. A first group from emlyon is expected in winter 2023.
Note that these 3 agreements were made possible thanks to the joint efforts of the School’s International Relations and Partnerships Office and its MBA program administration.
