Quebec CPA Foundation: 20 Scholarships for the Student Community

In 2022, 20 members of the School’s student community earned scholarships from the Quebec CPA Foundation. These scholarships aim to encourage the recipients’ social commitment and excellence while they pursue their chartered professional accountant (CPA) trajectory.
Committed Future CPAs Category
Eight students received undergraduate scholarships:
- Safaa Belhajja
- Vincent Boily
- Juliette Cusson
- Anne-Sophie Desforges
- Gabrielle Gignac
- Serge Kabwika Mudiantu
- Elléa Lefils
- Lorena Schinaia-Viger
The eligibility criteria were as follows:
- Completion of at least 30 credits in a bachelor’s degree program that’s recognized by the Quebec CPA Order.
- A cumulative grade point average of 2.8/4.3 or higher.
- Voluntary involvement in social and extracurricular activities during their programs of study.
Financial Aid and Academic Persistence Category
A total of 12 members from HEC Montréal’s student community have received “assistance towards success” scholarships. These scholarships are designed for students who require financial assistance in order to cover all their study-related expenses.
In order to be eligible, students must be registered, or in the process of registering, for the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP), or must be in the process of obtaining course equivalences.

We wish to highlight the fact that the Quebec CPA Foundation annually supports some 200 students from across Quebec in their studies towards earning the CPA designation, by offering nearly $350,000 in scholarships and awards.
