HEC Montréal in top 50 of the Case Centre Impact Index 2023

HEC Montréal is the only Francophone academic institution from Canada to figure in the top 50 of the Case Centre Impact Index 2023. This new ranking of organizations, which is based on the global reach and impact of their case writing, was launched to celebrate the Case Centre’s 50th anniversary.
The Case Centre is located in Cranfield University (UK) and includes over 500 member organizations. It independently distributes the world’s largest and most diverse collection of cases including 160 from the School.
At the heart of the School’s teaching practices
For over 40 years, HEC Montréal has promoted the use of the case study method as a valuable teaching tool in nearly all management-related disciplines. Created in 1999, the HEC Montréal Case Centre holds over 1,800 cases from about 1,200 authors, which are used by 620 institutions worldwide, in addition to publishing the International Journal of Case Studies in Management (IJCSM) since 2003.
“As we have just celebrated the 20th anniversary of our journal, this international distinction provides a huge boost for our ongoing mission, while also revealing the scope and excellence of our case studies” highlighted Julien Le Maux, Director of the Case Centre, and Editor-in-Chief of the IJCSM.
