International Journal of Case Studies in Management: 20 years of global influence
November 20, 2023
The International Journal of Case Studies in Management (IJCSM), the only peer-reviewed journal that publishes management-related case studies in French and English that are international in scope, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2023.
“For over 40 years, HEC Montréal has promoted the use of the case study method as a valuable teaching tool in nearly all management-related disciplines,” highlights Julien Le Maux, Director of the Case Centre, and Editor-in-Chief of the IJCSM. “With the creation of the Case Centre in 1999 and the launch of the journal a few years later, the School fulfilled its mission of producing and disseminating high-quality cases in the international arena.”
The IJCSM team, which publishes 4 issues each year, is looking to the future with confidence, and hopes to:
- Continue publishing cases in French;
- Continue meeting the needs of users, notably by offering innovative formats;
- Address current themes or under-represented topics;
- Increase the number of cases from under-represented regions.
