Academic excellence scholarship for student athlete Patrick Lebeau
March 28, 2024
HEC Montréal student athlete Patrick Lebeau has been awarded a $4,000 National Bank scholarship through Fondation Aléo (formerly known as Fondation de l’athlète d’excellence du Québec), in recognition of his outstanding academic performance, and in support of his dual commitment to academics and sports.
In addition to successfully pursuing a high-level sports career in alpine skiing, Patrick Lebeau is enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at HEC Montréal.
“Being selected for a scholarship from Fondation Aléo is always special. It’s a recognition of not only my involvement and performance in the sport I have devoted myself to for so many years, but also my ability to strike a successful balance between my studies and skiing. I am extremely grateful to Fondation Aléo and the National Bank for giving me this scholarship and it was of course a great surprise when I received the news!”
