Awards for teaching excellence: 10 PhD students take top honours

October 30, 2024

For the third year in a row, HEC Montréal is celebrating teaching excellence by organizing an awards ceremony for PhD students who are committed to teaching courses in the School’s undergraduate and graduate programs during their doctoral studies.

Ten people pursuing a PhD in Administration were honoured by the PhD in Administration program on October 11, during a ceremony at HEC Montreal.

Denis Larocque, Program Director, served as host of the event.

The winners, who each received a $1,000 scholarship are:

  • Marie-Ève Beauchamp Legault
  • Antoine Bujold
  • Emmanuelle Fortin
  • Anaïs Galy
  • Tanya Giannelia
  • Felix Giroux
  • Francis Maisonneuve
  • Charlotte Pellegrino
  • Sara-Maude Poirier
  • Ali Arsalan Pasha Siddiqui

This year’s winners were selected based on a rigorous analysis of student evaluations for courses taught in the Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 terms. Two main criteria were used to distinguish them: students’ satisfaction with what they learned in the course and the teacher’s recommendation.
