Double honor for HEC Montréal at the model UN simulation

A student delegation from HEC Montréal put in a sterling performance in the National Model United Nations (NMUN), which was held from March 24 to 28 at the UN Headquarters in New York.
It received 2 awards from the jury during this Model UN simulation.
The School’s team, which represented Belgium, won an Honorable Mention Delegation Award.
Camille Albertos and Claire Guttadauro, who took part in the General Assembly Third Committee won the Best Position Paper Award, which rewards the best position presentation on two subjects:
- Promotion and protection of children’s rights during conflicts
- Prevention of violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity
The NMUN simulation has existed since 1947. This year, it attracted more than 2,500 university students from all over the world. Over half come from outside the United States.
