HEC Montréal releases its 2024-2027 Strategic Plan
January 29, 2024
The strategic plan that will guide the future of the School over the next four years has been officially launched. It was Federico Pasin, Director of HEC Montréal, who made the announcement today to all staff members.
“I am fully confident that this 2024-2027 Strategic Plan will ensure that HEC Montréal remains a business school that is increasingly in tune with the needs of society, one that continues to strive for excellence, places the learner at the heart of its actions and emphasizes its societal impact.”
Staying on track, refining the trajectory
Building on the 2020-2023 Strategic Plan, the School has succeeded in meeting multiple challenges and demonstrating its ability to train management leaders who make a responsible contribution to the success of organizations and to the sustainable transition of society at large.
Therefore, the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan has been developed for the sake of continuity. Although this Plan is on the same track as its predecessor, a few adjustments have been made in order to ensure that the focus areas are targeted even more accurately, and the strategic objectives are clearly spelt out.
Excellence in teaching and research, coupled with community engagement remain the strongest pillars of HEC Montréal. Thus, by relying on the entrepreneurial culture that characterizes it, the School will continue to provide an enriching experience throughout the learning process and contribute to the advancement of management knowledge.
What path lies ahead for the next three years?
Henceforth, the new strategic plan will be structured around 3 focus areas:
- emphasizing our impact in society;
- enhancing the academic journey of students;
- cultivating an open and stimulating environment.
The implementation of the strategic plan will involve the adoption of action plans by each of the departments, and its progress will be monitored by a steering system.
