The School salutes several 2024 cohorts of graduates

HEC Montréal celebrated the success of 2,801 graduates who completed their graduate and certificate programs in 2024. Two ceremonies took place on December 3, 2024, in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts:
- Graduation ceremonies of Master of Science (MSc), Professional Masters and specialized graduate diplomas (DESS); and
- Graduation ceremonies for certificates and bachelor's degrees in management (B. Gest).
In all, nearly 989 graduates took part in both events, accompanied by their loved ones.
The first ceremony was an opportunity for the School to formally proclaim the emeritus status of Michel Vézina, a retired professor from the Department of Accounting Sciences.
HEC Montréal's Secretary General, Johanne Turbide, acted as Master of Ceremonies. HEC Montréal Director Federico Pasin was also on hand for both events.
Dignitaries included Academic Programs Director François Bellavance, MSc Program Director Sihem Taboubi, Certificate Programs Director Suzanne Landry and the Vice-Rector of Communications and Strategic Planning at the Université de Montréal Jean-François Gaudreault-DesBiens.
Several faculty members also were on stage at each ceremony.
