Jonathan Sénécal named Canada’s U SPORTS Athlete of the Year
June 19, 2024
Jonathan Sénécal, a Bachelor of Business Administration student from HEC Montréal and Montréal Carabins quarterback, was once again honoured this year.
During the end-of-season gala which took place in Calgary last Monday, he and Université Laval sprinter Audrey Leduc were announced as winners of the Lois and Doug Mitchell Award.
This prestigious award is presented each year to the country’s outstanding male and female U SPORTS athletes.
“It’s absolutely crazy! There are so many great athletes across the country, and just knowing that I stood out as a candidate is very flattering. I am grateful to everyone who helped me during my journey as a student-athlete. Without them, I would never be where I am today.”
