Maude Brunet appointed Associate Editor of European Management Review

Maude Brunet, an Associate Professor in HEC Montréal’s Department of Management has been appointed to the editorial team of the European Management Review (EMR), the scientific journal of the prestigious European Academy of Management.
As Associate Editor for the “Project Management Studies” area, she will handle submissions of publications related to project management, temporary organizational forms and their implications for governance, collaboration and leadership.
“I am delighted to see that research in project management is gaining more recognition in scientific journals related to general management and in organizational theory. It is an honour for me to be appointed to this newly created key position, which will further enable project management to establish itself as a theoretically rich and interdisciplinary field, with concrete practical benefits required to meet current societal and environmental challenges.”
EMR is a general management journal that is interested in linking specialized domains to each other and to general management questions. It also promotes interconnections between management studies and the social sciences.
About de Maude Brunet
Maude Brunet is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at HEC Montréal. Her research interests include temporary organizations, governance and innovation of megaprojects, public infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships.
She has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) of the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2010.
She has published in several project management and administrative science journals and served as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Project Management. She has co-directed three books, including a book on organizing complex projects entitled Research Handbook on Complex Project Organizing.
