Tax Executives Institute lauds the academic excellence of an HEC Montréal student

Avi Moryoussef is the winner of the $1,500 scholarship, which is awarded each year by the Montreal chapter of the Tax Executives Institute.
“I am grateful to the Tax Executives Institute for having selected me as the recipient of this scholarship; this honor is a significant step in my career devoted to taxation. I would also like to express my gratitude to HEC Montréal for the exceptional education I received there, an experience that strengthened my resolve to pursue a career as a tax lawyer.”
Currently a student in the MA in Law (LLM) – Tax option program at HEC Montréal, Avi Moryoussef holds a Licence in Civil Law (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa. This scholarship has been awarded to him in recognition of his excellent overall academic record.
Besides having a remarkable academic trajectory, Mr. Moryoussef is a tax lawyer at Spiegel Sohmer Inc. in Montréal.
