An easier path to CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing

HEC Montréal has obtained CFA Institute’s ESG certification for its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program.

CFA Institute is a globally recognized not-for-profit organization that provides finance education for investment professionals.

The organization has asserted that HEC Montréal’s BBA program covers a significant portion of the major themes addressed in the professional certificate in environmental, social and governance investing (Certificate in ESG Investing), offered by CFA Institute.

This means that earning a BBA degree from the School, especially with a specialization in finance, would certainly pave the way for graduates who might then decide to work towards this certificate.

This recognition achieved by HEC Montréal’s BBA program follows in the footsteps of an existing partnership between the School and CFA Institute – the University Affiliated Partnership.

As part of this partnership, the institute provides educational material and also offers Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) scholarships to candidates.
