HEC Montréal MBA still among the best, according to CEO Magazine

CEO Magazine has unveiled its 2025 ranking of the top MBA programs and HEC Montréal occupies an enviable position. As has been the case for several years, HEC Montréal is in the top third of ranked institutions worldwide.
The British magazine’s rankings rely on an analysis of fact-based data provided by faculties and schools, rather than on surveys of students and alumni.
The most important criterion is the “Quality of Faculty,” which counts for nearly 35% of the weighting. Next in order are the following criteria:
- International Diversity (9.71%)
- Class Size (9.71%)
- Accreditations Held by the School (8.74%)
- Faculty to Student Ratio (7.76%)
- Price (5.83%)
- International Exposure (4.85%)
- Work Experience (4.85%)
- Professional Development (4.85%)
- Gender Parity (4.85%)
- Delivery Methods (3.8%)
In all, 153 schools from 24 countries offering 309 MBA, online MBA and EMBA programs were evaluated. This increase in the number of schools considered is explained by the growth in online MBA offerings, with 10 new programs entering the rankings.
Note that HEC Montréal did not participate in this ranking for its EMBA program offered jointly with McGill University.
