Springboard for a master’s degree from MIT

A new partnership between HEC Montréal and the MIT Sloan School of Management has paved the way for members of our student community to study at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Master of Science (MSc) and MBA graduates from HEC Montréal or current MSc students who meet certain criteria are eligible to apply for the Master of Science in Management Studies (MSMS) at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

HEC Montréal is one of fifteen universities worldwide to be partners in this exclusive program. Each year, a maximum of three applications from our School will be selected for the MSMS.

The Master of Science in Management Studies is a customized program that complements an MBA or Master of Science (MSc) degree. Students admitted into this program will have the opportunity to pursue advanced management studies and earn an MIT degree in nine months. The curriculum is focused according to the academic and career goals of each student, who must also complete a thesis in their chosen field.
