Two new agreements with Belgium

HEC Montréal has expanded its offer of Specialized Graduate Diplomas (DESS) – International Pathway by entering into two new agreements with renowned Belgian institutions.

This means that master’s students from ICHEC Brussels Management School who do their first year there, and their second year at HEC Montréal, will receive a DESS under certain conditions. For their part, participating cohorts from HEC Liège will have the opportunity, as part of their five-year bachelor’s and master’s degree, to do their final year at HEC Montréal and earn a DESS from the School, in addition to their degree from HEC Liège.

The purpose of the DESS – International Pathway is to help students acquire specific management skills that address the current issues being faced by organizations, thereby revealing the talents of future managers.

A close link with Belgium

These agreements consolidate the long-standing partnerships that the School has already established with these two institutions, including international exchange programs that have enabled the mobility of more than 600 students since 1988. These are also in addition to the agreements concluded several years ago with Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and University of Antwerp.
