Quebec rate

The Quebec rate includes only the basic amount charged to all students as well as compulsory institutional fees, with no lump-sum differential fee.

If you are among the following clientele, you can receive the Quebec tuition rate, under certain conditions:

  • Quebeckers
  • Canadians who are Quebec residents
  • French citizens in a graduate or PhD program

Canadian rate (non-resident of Quebec)

In addition to the basic amount and compulsory institutional fees, the rate for Canadians who are non-residents of Quebec includes a lump sum set by the Quebec government for each clientele below.

  1. A lump sum for:
    • Canadians who are non-residents of Quebec and enrolled in a program in French or a MSc program thesis stream in English.
    • International students who receive an exemption, such as undergraduate students from France.
  2. A lump sum for Canadians who are non-residents of Quebec and enrolled in a program in English other than the MSc program thesis stream in English.

International rate

In addition to the compulsory basic amount and institutional fees, the international rate includes a lump sum for each of the following clienteles.

  1. An amount set by the Quebec government for international students enrolled in a research-oriented graduate or PhD program (thesis or dissertation).
  2. An amount set by the school and the Quebec government for international students enrolled in an undergraduate program or in a program that is not research oriented, including independent study courses.
