Lockdown

If you must lock yourself in during an emergency situation:

1. Lock the door and barricade it, if possible.
2. Cover any windows onto the hallway and stay away from them.
3. Turn off the lights and computers and any source of noise (put cell phones on silent mode).
4. Hide.
5. Remain calm and silent.
6. Wait for instructions from the police or emergency personnel before leaving the premises.
