Our language course offering

Develop skills in French, English, or Spanish. Our language courses will give you basic knowledge or help you improve your grammar and vocabulary. The business language skills you build will be an asset in your studies and in achieving your professional goals.

How to register for a language course

• You can only take one course per term. Each course is 3 credits.
• You will be automatically registered for an online placement test for language courses.
• You will receive an email with the procedure and the deadline for taking the test.
• You should only take this test if you want to take a language course at HEC Montréal.
• Once you have taken the test, the Business Language Training Centre (Centre de formation en langues des affaires – CFLA) will register you for the appropriate course for your level.

ImportantThe placement test is not required for management courses.
