1 . Finalize your admission.

2 . Attend a mandatory orientation session.
Students admitted to an exchange program will receive an invitation to a mandatory orientation session. Attend the event to learn everything you need to know in preparation for your stay at HEC Montréal. This will also be a chance for you to ask any questions you may have.

3 . Request the authorizations required to enter and study in Canada.
You must meet certain government immigration requirements depending on your country of origin.

4 . Health insurance: learn the requirements and the documents you must provide.
You must have valid health insurance covering your entire stay in Quebec. There are several possibilities, depending on your citizenship. You may need to take some steps and provide additional documentation.

5 . Establish a budget.
When you arrive in Montréal, you will have several types of expenses: to study, pay rent, buy food, and get around.
