Only HEC Montréal students and staff have access to the trading room during business hours.
Only people with a magnetic access card can use the room outside of opening hours (to obtain this card, you must be an operator or a member of the student investment fund, the NBI-HEC Montréal fund, or the trading club). Please note that this access may be revoked at any time in case of non-compliance with the terms of use and the rules.
It is strictly forbidden to eat in the trading room.
Water and other non-alcoholic beverages may be consumed in bottles (containers with lids only).
In case of technical problems, always consult the operator.
The use of computers for purposes other than those related to room operations is prohibited.
Do not modify the configuration of the computers.
Never turn off any computers at the stations.
The use of computers for any purpose other than researching financial information is prohibited.
Users must respect the intellectual property and copyright of the databases and software.
Users must keep the premises orderly and clean, and keep the equipment in good condition.
At any time, a security operator or officer may require users to present a student card or identification card.
Behaviour that disturbs the peace in the room (verbal or physical violence, lack of respect for the premises) will not be tolerated.
In the event of non-compliance with these conditions, the user will be asked to leave the trading room immediately.
